In The Flow

Following on from our earlier work with Jiayu Liu - this pieces is projection mapping on a huge scale, creating a digital waterfall on a rock face in the magical Guilin in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The pieces is an experiment that takes Chinese painting and illustration styles and reproduces them using new fluid simulation and motion graphics techniques.  Reproducing the simplicity and abstraction of old artworks on a huge scale and with infinite motion.

A&E handled content creation and development as well as advising on projection design and remotely supporting the onsite AV team.

The piece was a semi permanent installation close to a famous hotel in the region.
